Reputed luxury fashion brand, Gucci was founded in 1921 in Florence (Italy) by Guccio Gucci, who specialised in high quality leather goods. The excellence of its products made the house's fame grow and it experienced its moment of expansion and diversification between the 1950s and 1960s.
With the entry of Tom Ford as creative director in the 1990s, Gucci gained relevance to become an iconic luxury brand for consumers of several generations, a trajectory that has been continued by Frida Giannini, Alessandro Michele and Sabato de Sarno.
